Safety Precautions During the Printing Process
1. During the printing process, pay attention to observe whether the machine's operation is normal and whether the UV lamp is flashing properly. At the same time, check if the printing material deforms under the irradiation of the UV lamp, so as to prevent it from scratching the print head.If the printing material deforms, you can pause the printing, raise the print head slightly, or turn down the knob of the UV water - cooling tank a bit.
2. Due to different printing materials, they are required to have surface coating treatments.
3. Materials with static electricity need to have the static removed (by wiping with alcohol) during printing. If necessary, install an electrostatic eliminator (note that it should be turned off when printing metal plates). When printing magnetic materials, the magnetism must be removed before printing. Or you have to stop printing immediately.
4. When printing transparent and reflective materials, please confirm whether the materials are suitable for printing before printing. For transparent materials, such as glass, crystal, acrylic, etc., the layout for printing should have a compact reserved gap. The edges of the materials should be wrapped with black tape to avoid refracted light shining on the print heads. For reflective materials, edge protection should be carried out according to the material thickness. When printing, ensure ink is coming out of each color-related print head. Print Head Moisturizing Strips can be put in the edge of the printer to keep the environment moist. Check the status of the print heads. If any anomaly occurs, stop printing immediately. After printing, you should press the ink and check the status of the moisturizing printing heads. When printing transparent materials, materials with chamfers and reflective structure inside, they should be printed after proper treatment. It is advisable to put a black layer beneath the transparent material ti reduce reflection.
5. When the printed object's height is over 1 cm, it is advisable to place a black material of the same height around the printed object to prevent reflection. In this way, it can be ensured that the print heads will not be blocked because of the reflection caused by an excessively high lamp.
6. When printing pictures, if you do not use gloss varnish, please make sure to turn off the varnish LED light switch to avoid printing head blockage caused by light reflection.
7. The ink should be press and the print head should be cleaned and kept moisturized every hour to ensure the best printing effect.
8. When the printer is working for a long time, attention should be paid to the ink splashed on the nozzle base plate and the UV lamp surface during printing. This is to prevent the ink droplets on the base plate from falling onto the surface, which may have negative impact to the UV lamp brightness and the efficiency of solidification of the product. The nozzle base plate must be kept clean to prevent it from being accidentally blocked when wiping the nozzle.
9. You should pay attention to whether the UV lamp is turned on or not, whether the fans are working or not for heat dissipation, whether the water level in the water tank is full or not, whether the antifreeze is flowing and circulating or not. If you find that the UV lamp is not bright enough, please clean the ink which is on the surface of the lamp. This product uses LED cold light sources to solidify the ink. Therefore, when the UV lamp is working, the staff should not look directly at the UV light, and they can wear professional ultraviolet protection glasses.

Notes after Printing
1. After every-day printing, you should clean the UV lamp on the nozzle base plate of the machine and the flying ink on the light source lens in a timely manner.
2. After the Epson I3200 machine completes printing, lower the print head to the reference height and print the print-head state diagram to ensure that the state is normal. After resetting the X-axis, you should observe whether the print head surface matches the ink pad to keep the printing heads moist and prevent it from being damaged because of drying out for a long time. After completing the above steps, turn off the power supply.
3. After the Ricoh G5i and G6 finish printing, as long as the printing status diagram is ensured to be normal, it is sufficient to keep them powered on and in standby mode.
4. Ricoh G5i/G6 Machine Shutdown Procedure: After cleaning the ink of the print head and confirming that the printing status diagram is normal, the print carriage needs to be moved onto the platform. Please set the tray with moisturizing liquid flush with the nozzle base plate by hand. Then turn off the secondary ink cartridge valve and the power supply. After that, lower the height of the Z-axis manually to match the moisturizing tray to achieve the moisturizing effect.
