Preparations and Precautions Before Operation of UV Printer with CCD

This passage is mainly about the preparations before you start to use the uv printer.

Environment Requirement

1. Keep the indoor temperature between 22°C and 28°C and the humidity between 40% and 80% (no condensation). An AC must be installed to maintain a constant temperature and humidity indoors.

2. Please avoid exposing the equipment to direct sunlight.

3. Please avoid using this equipment with high dust, strong magnetic fields, or strong corrosive substances.

4. Please ensure there is no perception of wind in the environment.

5. Ensure that the machine's grounding wire is properly grounded. Drive it into the ground to a depth of 1-1.5 meters with a metal rod. A steel bar or copper tube, with a diameter of 16 mm and a length of 1-1.5 meters can be used to ensure a good grounding effect. Only after testing with a test pen and confirming that there is no ground electricity can you debug the equipment and start printing operations.

6. The printer should be kept stable and put on a flat ground and well fixed. When installing the machine, use a spirit level to check the overall levelness of the platform.

The Preparations Before Operation

1. Check the ink volume in the main ink cartridge and add ink in a timely manner. Before adding ink, ensure that the color of the ink matches that in the ink cartridge.

2. Make sure that the ink-low alarm switch of the ink cartridge and the white ink agitator have been turned on properly.

3. Before turning on the equipment, check whether the connections of the equipment's power cord, data cable, and water tank hose are normal.

4. Turn on the power of the water-cooled tank and check if the water flow is normal. (For precautions regarding the water-cooled tank, please refer to the labels on the water-cooled tank.)

5. Turn on the power of the device and the computer. Observe whether the startup operation of the device is normal. Wait until the printer is ready for connection (if there is any abnormality, the control software will give a prompt).

6. When the control software indicates that the safety bottle is full or the board emits an alarm sound, pause the programme immediately. After the carriage returns to its original position, check whether there is ink back-flow in the safety bottle on the carriage head. Any contaminated material tube should be replaced immediately. Check the ink volume of the main ink cartridge before restarting the machine. Please check if the negative pressure is too high before activating it. After adjusting it to an appropriate value, open the secondary ink bottle and press the ink, then wipe it clean and click "Continue" to start using it.

7. The equipment is equipped with a thermostat and a negative pressure gauge. After powering on, observe the figures displayed on the temperature and negative pressure gauges. Once the set figures are reached, you can open the valve of the secondary ink bottle. (The negative pressure should be adjusted according to the actual situation.After pressing the ink and wiping it clean, observe whether there are ink droplets on the surface of the print head. If there is any ink dripping, please increase the negative pressure value by about 0.2.).When pressing the ink, do not keep holding the ink - pressing button. After pressing the ink, gently wipe the surface of the print head. Excessive force may damage the print head.

8. Press the ink to clean the print head, and then wipe the print head with a dust-free cloth from the inside out. Do not wipe back and forth. Besides, when wiping the print head, do not wipe the base plate simultaneously to prevent dirt from the base plate from getting into the print head. After turning on the machine and pressing the ink, print the print-head state diagram before printing. Proceed to the next step only when the print-head state is confirmed to be normal.

9. If ink residue is found on the cable, immediately turn off the controller. Take care to wipe the cable with a dust-free cloth, ensuring you don't use excessive force that might accidentally cause you to pull the cable.

10. When adjusting the height of the carriage head, you can click the UP or DOWN buttons on the Z-axis of the software.

11. Before printing, please check the distance between the print heads and the object to prevent the print heads from scratching the object. The optimal distance should be 2 millimeters.

12. When using the Epson machines, you should pay attention to the connection between the ink cartridges, ink tubes and the print head. The ink cartridge clip must be installed. The ink cartridge clip must be installed. When there is excess ink inside the print head cover, use a cotton swab to absorb it, ensuring that no ink overflows onto the cable. If ink is found in the ink-absorbing column groove of the print head, please clean it in a timely manner to prevent the ink from flowing into the print head cable and other parts of the print head circuit, which could burn out the print head. Do not turn on the machine before cleaning. If ink is found in the hole of the print head cable, do not turn on the machine. Please ask the technicians for help.

13. When checking the vision light source, confirm whether the optical path is blocked by wires.
