China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, is the window, epitome and symbol of China's opening up to the outside world and an important platform for international trade and cooperation, which has played an important role in promoting the development of China's foreign trade and facilitating the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, and has been regarded as China's No. 1 exhibition.
The Canton Fair is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and organized by the China Foreign Trade Center. Since its inception in 1957, it has been held annually in Guangzhou, China in spring and fall, and has been successfully held for 136 times so far. Canton Fair is the comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete commodities, the largest number of buyers from the widest range of sources, the best transaction results and the best reputation in China. The 136th Canton Fair has a total of 224 countries and regions from overseas buyers online and offline participation, of which 253,000 offline participation of overseas buyers, for the first time exceeded the 250,000 mark, a record high; online participation of overseas buyers 450,000.
The 137th Canton Fair will open on April 15, with an exhibition area of about 1.55 million square meters. The Canton Fair provides global buyers with a one-stop trading platform with complete categories, high quality, high price, convenient and efficient, and reputation protection.This year's Canton Fair will continue to gather global design and innovation resources, and through organizing various activities, it will provide a multi-form display and communication and docking platform for domestic and foreign design institutions and Canton Fair exhibitors.
