Operation Instruction of the Ball Product Impact Machine
Mar 24, 2025| Operation Instruction of the Ball Product Impact Machine
A ball product impact machine usually refers to a falling ball impact testing machine, which is a device used to test the impact strength of materials or products
Equipment use
This device is used to make the ball repeatedly hit on the metal surface or phenolic resin surface. The number of cycles of use of the simulated ball over some time, compared to the previous test values. The difference between the values of circumference, roundness and pressure values obtained after shooting and the previous values is expressed as an absolute increase in circumference and pressure and as a percentage of sphericity. Worn sample balls can be rechecked for size, weight and shape to ensure they do not change significantly, thus guaranteeing that the balls produced meet international standards.Suitable for all types of soccer, basketball and volleyball.
Operating Principle
The ball product impact machine utilizes two high-speed rotating rollers on the upper and lower opposite sides. Under the action of friction and extrusion, the sample ball is thrown out at high speed and impacts the rebound plate, which rebounds the sample ball into the goal frame. Under the action of gravity, the sample ball passes to the ejection roller and the sample ball is thrown out again. After a set number of tests, check the change of pressure inside the specimen ball (percentage change of air pressure) and whether there is any change of rupture, implosion, debonding, wire breakage, deformation and so on.
operation instruction
☆ Before use, please carefully read this manual for correct use.
☆ The purpose of the precautions listed in this manual is to ensure the safe use of the machine and to keep you and others safe from hazards and injuries.
☆ The design and production of this product, fully consider the safety, please be sure to comply with the precautions in this manual, otherwise it will cause a major accident.

☆ When installing, repairing and maintaining, the power supply and air source of the distribution box must be turned off first.
☆ When not in use, turn off all input power and air supply.
☆ Place the same type of balls, number of balls, and pressure inside the balls as set in the equipment during the test.
Regular Inspection
In order to maintain the performance of this equipment in the long term, regular inspections are required.
Regular inspections should be meticulous, including internal inspection and cleaning of the equipment.
Regular inspections are usually conducted once every six months, but if the working environment is dusty, the regular inspection time should be shortened to once every three months.
To ensure safety, periodic inspections need to be done by professionally qualified or skilled personnel.
It is necessary to turn off the power and air supply to the equipment during regular inspections.
To ensure the high performance and accuracy of this equipment, when replacing parts, please use genuine parts such as Siemens, Festo, KEYENCE, PSM, etc.
Inspection contents
In addition to the following inspection contents, the user can add inspection items according to their own use conditions.
a) Remove internal dust:
Open each door on the frame, clean and maintain the accumulated dirt or dust on the internal track, motor, cylinder, solenoid valve, etc.
b) Clean the dust inside the control box.
Open the door of the control box and clean and maintain the dust accumulated on the circuit components inside the box.
c) Routine inspection:
Check the fasteners, pipes and lines
